Harden 9 of Fortnite is formally afoot, and it's brought with IT several big changes to Epic Games' hit battle royale shooter. Not only are in that respect new areas of the map out to explore, there's a new Battle Pass to purchase, which comes with a load of new skins and other aesthetical rewards to unlock over the next respective weeks.

Of feed, with a new Engagement Die down comes a new assortment of challenges to whole, and Week 1's missions are now hold up PS4, Xbox Uncomparable, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. Completing these bequeath flat your Battle Pass up and, in turn, unlock the aforementioned Season 9 rewards. That's not all you can manage complemental challenges, yet.

In real time Playing: Fortnite's Week 1 Secret Fight Star Location Guide (Season 9 Sion Gainsay)

Just as in previous seasons, there's a secondhand set of missions to complete called Utopia challenges. These are Season 9's equivalent of the Discovery challenges from Season 8, and they can only be completing by finishing all sevener challenges from a precondition week. If you care to do that, you'll unlock a specialised loading screen that features a subtle clue pointing you to a unoccupied item unseeable somewhere around the island, such Eastern Samoa a Battle Star that levels your Battle Reject by one tier.

Complete whol of the challenges from unmatched workweek in Time of year 9 and you'll unlock the loading screen pictured below. This time, the clue is fairly easygoing to spot. Consider the minigun and you'll see a set of coordinates written onto the face of the artillery: I5, I6, J5, and J6. This is where you'll need to snuff it to find the free Combat Star.

The area where the coordinates meet is just south of Lonely Lodge; you nates see its exact locating marked on the map out below. Make your way to the area and the Battle Wi will appear. Owed it as you would some other item in the game, then finish the couple and you'll level your Battle Pass dormy by one instinct tier. If you're familiar with how Season 8's Find challenges worked, you'll know there are a few caveats to keep in mind in front you can find Flavor 9's Sion dispute rewards. Most importantly, this primary Engagement Star won't appear in the game unless you've complete nonpareil full week's Set of challenges and unlocked the loading screen pictured above, which means you can't simply attend the far area and cull out it upfield unless you've complete all the necessary steps.
